It's been a long time since I posted something here. Let's add "being more active" to my new year's resolutions;-)
I just bought myself a shiny new MacBook for Christmas and I must say it is great to finally have all the operating systems I use on the same machine. Windows is on the BootCamp partition and Linux in a VMware Fusion image. The cool thing is that you can boot the windows partition in VMware and it runs pretty fast. Fast enough for Visual Studio anyway.
The only problem I have is when I use Windows natively (not often but still). The trackpad driver from apple is complete bullshit. No tapping and especially no right-click! I hope they will fix this in an update soon...
On the positive side, there is a work around. The easiest I found for the moment is the Apple Mouse Utility It's old but it still works. Once launched you'll get the same behavior than on Mac OS X. CTRL + Click = Right Click. Too bad it is slow sometimes.
I haven't found a better/simpler solution for the moment.
